Scorpion Solitaire is another column based solitaire card game, similar to Spider Solitaire and Spiderette, but with a few significant differences. In Scorpion Solitaire you start out with many more cards turned face up, and you can move groups of cards that are not fully packed. However, you have to build the cards down by suit, and you are not allowed to remove the cards from play when you have a complete column of cards.
Deal 49 cards into 7 columns of 7 cards each. The first 4 columns each get 3 face down cards dealt into them. All other cards are turned face up. The last 3 cards that are not dealt into a column are placed in a stock pile that can be dealt into the first 3 columns at a time of the player's choosing.
You can move any card that is face up in a column, as long as you move all of the cards below it in the column along with it. The columns must be built down by suit. If the player gets stuck, he can deal the remaining 3 cards in the stock pile into the first 3 columns.
The player wins when he has built down the columns into 4 columns from King to Ace by suit.
